You guys want the bad news first?

Well, looks like I'm not fooling with any more saws for a while.

That's a pic of my spinal cord and the disc that's nearly got it pinched shut.

Most of ya know I've been having back and neck problems for a couple years now, often dissapearing for a while, but coming back stronger each time. Well, we've found the culprit.

I meet with a neurosurgeon first thing tomorrow morning, and will most likely be in surgery before the weekend. The two doctors that looked the MRI over couldn't believe I was still able to walk....

Anyhoo, hopefully I'll be back in action soon. Doc said 6-8 weeks is the usual recovery time. I'll be sure to try to keep up with muh progress and such. The wife might post up a bit when I can't, so y'all be nice to her.

It was the greatest thing that has happened to him in a while!!!
There were several other possible scenarios and this was the best possible outcome considering the alternatives!
Missing a few days work and having someone cutting inside your neck with saws and chisels is great fun.................compared to being paralyzed....or not being able to pick up and love on that darling little daughter of his.
Jeremy is truly a blessed and lucky man to have had the warnings he has had.

I just got off the phone with Jeremy. Sounds like he's improving nicely. Yes, there's a long road to full recovery, but he's come a long ways since Wednesday evening. Hang in there Jeremy. We're pulling for ya!

Trying to get the pain meds figured out. If I take em as prescribed, they really screw with muh head. I can't stand light, and I get a headache like u wouldn't believe. If I don't take em, I'm in unbelievable pain. Almost unbearable.

I spent most of the day in the dark, without pain meds. I just took em a bit ago.

It's a freakin roller coaster at the moment. Just gotta find the sweet spot...

man, you get busy at work, can't cruise AS for a week, come back, and one of the stalwarts has taken a hit. dude! glad they caught it before it was worse; probably not far from it. i'm guessing about now you're thinking "i should have had that checked at sooner". i know many of us have a high pain threshold but i'm thinking your's is higher than most. now, get off your azz and get some work done. NOT!. thank the Lord for his hand in your recovery.

I kinda know how you feel when mine was done i had problem's also eather they dident work or mine put me in la la land.If their is anything i can do for ya let me know.

Man that must suck! Not trying to sound like your mom or anything (LOL), but you taking them with food or something? I had some high power Oxycodine one time for a root canal.....Took one on an empty stomach and thought I was gonna die before it wore off ...No kiddin.... Ill never EVER do that again!

Like I told ya, stay on a schedule with the pain meds. The la la land stuff will get better as your system gets used to them.
