Nothing quite like a Blue Homelite
Sheesh, that looks brand new.Picked up this Jonsered 2252 for $225 from marketplace. Part of an estate sell off. I have been wanting a 545/550 for a while now, the price was finally right.
Was dull and dirty, but easily cleaned right up. Mint OEM bar, spotless P&C. I can't imagine it had more than 5-10 tanks through it. It will likely get a muff mod & thinner base gasket at some point.
Red looks good on the trail rig!
Damn! Congrats! That’s a hell of a deal and project.Picked this guy up today. It needs work but couldn't resist for $50 cdn . Stihl 044. Needs a new rear handle, piston and cylinder. But I think I have a fair bit of room to throw some money at it.
Just searched the serial number and its a 10mm saw to boot. Apparently run strongerDamn! Congrats! That’s a hell of a deal and project.
You should be able to work backwards from your bar and chain. My spur sprocket on the same saw is a 6 tooth, 3/8 pitch for 91 chain. If you had the same 3/8" pitch chain this would work also. Comes with bearing.Unfortunately, gumneck, there is no sprocket at all. I have nothing to go by. If I consider the bar and chain, can I determine what sprocket I need? O
I haven't even pulled the clutch cover yet. I will do so and see what I find. I'd like to get it running, if the motor actually still runs! I will check compression, and I will pull the muffler to examine the piston. Updates to come later. Thanks, OYou should be able to work backwards from your bar and chain.
