I'm not sure if they are still in business. They were made in Southern Indiana near Evansville, I think in Darmstaut. I live about 30 miles from there. I will try and find out for you. I have a couple of their sharpeners, but don't use them much after I got my Oregon grinder. I started using a cordless drill instead of hand cranking on them. They do work, but not as quick as the grinder. They are a well built sharpener. I have had mine for several years. I think back about 20 years ago they were about 30.00$ new
This sharpener , or one that looks the same was first introduced in the early 1980's. It was called the Gamn chain sharpener. The company is no longer in business. I still have a couple, but the cutters are worn out. They were made in southern Indiana.
the "new" timberline sharpener look VERY similar,
. . . I revamped the ones I have so you can sharpen both angles either from the outside/in or the inside/out.
Photo or diagram please?
Thanks.
