Yup. It's called a Redmax 5300. This has been discussed before, but here's one for you to see, and a little proof that it is a Husky. It's my understanding that this is the same saw as the 346XP with a different P&C. Kind of like the 359/357 deal.

See that Husky logo on there?

I have to admit, I like the red and black look. I notice it has a primer bulb, the 353's around here, mine included don't have one. Is that a Redmax only thing or has Husky added to the new 353's?

This saw belongs to my dealer, but I've got it here at the house. The Husky 353 sells for about $415. I can ship you this saw for $275 + shipping. I'm not making a dime on this, just passing along a good deal. He simply doesn't want it in his inventory since he sells mostly Stihl saws. You won't find a better deal on a new saw like this. If so desired, I can port the saw before shipping. PM me if interested.

That might go faster than your 357xp from earlier in the week Brad

Red& Black must be a 2152 then?lol except my 2152 does not have the hump back or primer bulb. They sure have allot of similarity though. Are Red Max cheaper to buy?

Pro / semipro

The Husqvarna 346ne XP is a professionel chainsaw and has 3,7 Hp and weights 5,0 kg

The Husqvarna 353 is a semiprofessionel chainsaw and has 3,3 Hp and weights 5,0 kg

The Redmax 5300 has 3,3 Hp and weights 4,99 kg and is the same as the Husqvarna 353

First one I saw was last fall at the Red Max meeting. When they broke for lunch I wanted to pop the top cover to see if anything else was different. Wasn't anything there to pry the top with so I used one of the pens that was on the table. Pen tip busted off and got ink on the saw and the tablecloth. Big freaking mess. Tried to wipe the ink off the saw with my thumb and just smeared it. Even bigger freaking mess. Nobody saw it, but I went and got bandaid out of the truck to cover the incriminating black spot on my thumb.

:agree2: - but the power difference feels like it is larger than those numbers tell you (I have both). :givebeer:

That's hillarious!

Handlebar Jred vs Husky

Sawtroll you cant switch handlebars from Jred to Husky. The handlebar (and chainbrake handle) is square to the sawbody on a Jred and angled 7 degrees on a Husky
