Just got my first homelite this week. Watcha think? Has 160 pounds of compression (with oil down the cylinder) and has spark. Need to get a drum/sprocket and find a bar for it yet. Can't wait to try her out!

Can any of you homelite guys help me out with this filter? I haven't seen one like this before and am unsure of it's construction. While this one seems to me to be pretty clean, are these able to be cleaned? I would be afraid to try for fear that it would fall apart.

Looks like the same one that is in my 7-19. I have not run that saw in almost 30 years so I am no help on a parts source.

Adjusting homelite super ez carb
I have a super ez and was wanting help on how much to turn the h and L. It was running rough when I recieved it and tried to start fresh but not sure how much to turn them out. It will not even run now! It starts than dies.... was running half way decent till I screwed with the H& L.
