No such thing as a chainsaw that can't be repaired, just depends on how much you want to spend on parts and how much effort you want to expend on finding them. Of course if parts CAN'T be found, then I guess the saw is unrepairable.
 
I sometimes buy them just for the parts.
Yeah, that doesn't seem to work for me.I end up seeing how easy it will be to make the "parts saw" a complete running reliable new best saw, then I end up looking for the same next "parts saw". Just happened again with a 345.Oh, look how nice a shape it is,It would make no sense to part it out.

I can unfortunately relate to that. Or there's a few same-model parts saws lying in a pile......there HAS to be a way to make a runner between them all, right.....right?
