I was at the local dealer and he said that Makita is stopping gasoline saw production in the next 2 years? Dolmar is already gone it seems, it was absorbed by Makita.

Replacing gasoline motors with ones that ultimately run mostly on coal is not that great an idea.
and using 5kwh of coal to refine 1 gall of gas is not great eitherReplacing gasoline motors with ones that ultimately run mostly on coal is not that great an idea.
HA! You are correct. I will be leaving soon to pick up 30,000 LMB.Your mind is prolly stuck too much on ponds and the fish in them instead of important things like chainsaws....haha.
Alot of the energy required to refine comes from the un marketable fractions of the crude itself. All the boilers, heaters, etc in a refinery are powered by fuel gas, which is a product that's a bit heavier than natural gas and has no market.and using 5kwh of coal to refine 1 gall of gas is not great either
I love lmb fishing.HA! You are correct. I will be leaving soon to pick up 30,000 LMB.
