I’ve had zero problems with my dolmars. I have husky, stihl, echo saws as well. Sometimes you get a lemon but so far I’ve had no issues.IME expiereance with the 7900 it wasn't as durable as a Husky 372 or Stihl 440 I had around the same time.

Seasonal firewood and a little tree work for friends, family, neighbors, etc. I’m not running them five days a week but I do use them frequently. Are you logging with them?
If you were using them more you might notice problems.Seasonal firewood and a little tree work for friends, family, neighbors, etc. I’m not running them five days a week but I do use them frequently.
Oiler issues, electric issues, plastic covers brittle, etc.I’d certainly be interested in knowing what problems you’ve encountered with them.
Mine oiled ok when the oiler worked properly. It often didn't. The crush fit of the hose to case was too light and it would often leak out nearly all the oiler output into the case never making it to the bar. Replacing the hose fixed it temporarily, but it would always have the same thing happen again sooner or latter, but especially during the Winter.I know some people say they don’t oil enough, I run a 28” bar on mine it seems to oil fine from what I can tell. I believe there’s a oiler rebuild kit that comes with a “high output” option. I’ll definitely keep an eye out for the other issues you’ve listed.
