592xp Bar Length

I was watching a video where the sawyer put a 42 in bar on his Husky to take out a large cedar. I went to Husky and saw they recommended a Max 36in. That seems small for that saw.
What do you think?

They say max 36” because Husqvarna does not have a 42” bar anymore.
42” is ok, but pushing it for ripping, but can still do it but will be slow.
Sharp skip tooth chain would be better too

If a 390 pulls a 42" in hardwood (it does) and a 395 pulls a 48"+ in hardwood (it does) with little issue for speed, power, and oiling, the 592 better have no problem pulling a 42" bar.

Recommended is just that. Doesn't mean that you cannot use a bigger bar if you need to. 592 should have no problems using a 42". Skip sequence chain can help as well. I use it on anything longer than about 28" in the wood i cut.
