the new needle actually does have a rubber tip. the rubber tip is silver, and I thought it was steel until I opened the carb and checked it again.I'd suspect the needle if it does not have a viton seat. Also look at the carb seat well
thanks! unfortunately, this is a new kit I just installed. maybe some defective parts.The pressure test is performed with the impulse nipple open. You have found the issue. Start with a diaphragm and gasket, or get a kit
