I took my "new" 036 pro out last weekend. Adjusted the carb, got everything dialed in nice there on friday night about midnight...neighbors love it when i do that.
Well, things went pretty good, i think. Not so much as even a screw came loose, and i ran about 5 or 6 tanks of gas through it. Fell several trees, did lots of bucking.
I am runnign a 20 duromatic solid nose bar on it, with a 3/8 chain. It cuts very aggressively.
I noticed though that sometimes it doesnt just fall through the log, i have to lift it up a little bit, and then let go and it fall on through. That doesnt happen everytiime i cut, just sometimes, like its biting too heavy, and cant take it. Does anybody else's 036 do this?
I think maybe i notice this because i am trying to compare it to my 066 that slows down for nothing.
Its a very fast saw though, especially since i am use to using the 024 on bucking and limbing. The 036 is at least twice as fast, maybe more!
Thanks,
Matt
