044 w/problem

My 024 does something like that. It was diagnosed with a leak in the crankcase. You know chainsaws have and need compression in the case. I am not a saw expert but that is what I was told. I could sell my saw the same way but I know it's no good. Just putting this out there for you hopfully these guys will give some insight too. Also, the seller probably dosn't know it either.
 
That EXACT saw is for sale on Ebay right now as # 280004456277.

The owner is selling it in two places at the same time...check it out.
 
We had that problem on an 044 for two years. Put in at least three carb kits; and, finally we replaced the carb and its run like a jewel ever since. Go figure.:bang:
