064/066 BB hybrid

is the cyl bolt upgrade only for the 064 or should it be done on an 066 if I go with a bb kit. also is this the nwp bb kit baileys have for sale for 100 bucks. thanks.

It is designed for the 066.

I guess that is the kit. That is where mine came from, but I paid $119.

My 064 runs a OEM Mahle 066 cylinder. It's an early one with no decomp.

I'm looking to get a little more pop out of my 066. what if I just pulled the base gasket out. Its got 135 comp now, don't know the squish.

If truely only 135, you have other issues to deal with first.

I know p/c look to be in good shape. I'm just now sure if I want to shell out the money for new stihl rings. I also checked a buddys saw and his is about the same compression. both saws seem to run well enough though.

Rings very well may be all it needs. I'd go with Caber rings from either Baileys or Northwood, both sponsors here.
