Yes, like I said... a probe (there is groove in the piston boss for that purpose, but don't reuse them..

If you have new ones use them, but I've reused them "many" times. Mostly out of need. One of the new one's went flying, never to be seen again. I've "never" had a clip fail. I have forgotten to put one in and had a failure though!

got to put the 660 through its paces today, burnt 2 1/2 gallons of premix in it, got pics in the forestry/logging forum

The gap needs to be at the 12 o'clock postion - the lower postion has an adjacent slot cut to get the clip out and it's important that this is bridged by the clip.

Thanks for the improvement Andy, Forgot about bridging the gap, though I do it every time.

660 after one month

had the 660 for a shade over a month, about a month and a week. really haven't got to cut all that steadily, we have gotten a bunch of rain, i figured it up and i have cut between 200,000-250,000 bft with it. no problems yet, still purrs like a kitten.
