066 red light with poor spark.

I have a 066 red light that has very weak spark. I have always been under the impression that the modules either produced spark or not. I have adjusted the air gap but it has been to no avail. I guess my next step is a new module but that is going to be pricey.

How do you know it is a weak spark? Does it fire the mix and run the saw? Take an old plug and increase the gap to about 80 thousands. If it still jumps it isn't weak. If you are truly having a problem with it, I have one. Mike

It will not fire even when primed. When you pull the plug it has a very wek spark. A test light shows a low brightness light. You grab the plug and pull it over it barely gives a tingle.
