I vastly under estimated the weight of logs, and the power of hydraulics.
This time it was the hinges at the top that the arms are in, broke loose.
The last time it was the other end of the cylinders that came loose. Don't ask about the rigged repair on the broken hydraulic fitting...
It is working, and only dribbles a little bit. New cylinders are not in the budget!
While I was at it, I rebuilt the 3rd fork support. I had managed to bend the thing really badly.
The logic was, I have a bunch of trees to load up and haul. Pallet forks work, but finding the balance point is tedious.
I could have bought one, but... what is the fun in that? And if I can build one... it would be cheaper!
