Exactly! Robby26wi has it right:

Assuming you're a Husqvarna guy and wanted to stick with that brand, a 339 and 390 would probably round the mix out pretty well.

If you were a Stihl guy who wanted to keep the 357xp or replace it with an MS361, the big-bucks setup would be MS200 and MS660.

Computer is thinking pretty much the way I do. I've got his Stihl version of the 3 saw line-up and no regrets. :blob2:

My 3 saw plan.

MS660, MS440, and a Dolmar 5100s. I was going to get an MS 361 instead of the Dolmar, but I decided to go with the smaller 5100s due to the great price and it's reputation here.

It looks like my 3 saw plan will soon become a 4 saw plan. 460 or 441???

What to do? What to do?

Mitch

Please explain again what the 3-saw deal is? I don't understand. It seems the 357xp is the perfect middle-of-the-road saw. Sure it will take longer on the big stuff, and it might be over-kill on the limbing but I don't know what it can't do for the average homeowner user. Now the pros probably have a different need.

Yeah,
I started with the three saw plan. Then each of the three plans had to be further expanded with four subsets to cover all bases which was OK for a while. Then I found a sweet deal on a not so typical new MS380. Well, that makes thirteen and we all no that's an un-lucky number, so...........
(I got it bad!)

You're right - any way you look at it, it's bye, bye, cash!

Computer, you are a man after my own heart. See the sig.. Keep the 357 (since you already have it and its a darn good saw) and add the 200T and the 660. It is 'da "cha-ching" of saw combos. :rockn:

Three saw plan good! Use each one quite a bit. Thanks to A.S., 'cause I would have thought one or two to be enough. But that was then...
