Total BS you have no idea what goes on in a 2 stroke engine

i will say to you that you are one of the fools who's been taught by an idiot. i've been working on these damn things longer then most here and not just saws. everything 2 stroke. you are obviously one of the picky ******* who replaces a piston because of one little scuff. i will tel you and this is damn straight. you are a 47 year old ****'n idiot who is here to troll. your post was most likely cause you had nothing else to say. to come into an open forum and argue against something you obviously know absolutely nothing about proves it. if you actually think that the detonation pitting on that piston is a problem you have so much to learn you better just stick to posting basic **** for now. so i ask you, what goes on in a 2 stroke engine? can you answer that? please nobody answer until this fool does. i wanna hear his answer. if you can prove to me that you actually know as much as my big toe then i will kiss your ass in public. that's how confident i am that you don't know ****.

How is the big end of the rod? Glad the crank bearing losing a few balls didn't chew the rest of the engine...

Someone could give that piston a minor touch up on the crown and ring lands and you could give it a shot. Price is right. Or huck it in the trash.

If he's missing bearings balls from pro side the balls exploded and beat the hell out of the piston and went out the exhaust New bearings and maybe crank check big end of rod well and have cyl checked if squash band cut will get the damage cleaned up with new oem piston seals and adjustable carb mod muffs too

I'd replace the piston and have the chamber cleaned up and the base cut. You could do it redneck style with stick on sandpaper on the piston by hand.

I'd just clean out the ring groove, make sure rings float nicely and run it. I was raised by west coast fallers though. They get the most they can out of anything while not spending money. If the skirts are fine that saw will be just fine. There is no end to picky people on here though. They just need their shiny Pistons and cylinders.

so your going to leave the bearings alone when he can see that at least 2 maybe 3 bearings are missing and the remnants are all over the inside of the crankcase

if left it would not run long

i burned and and skipped passed that post. had to go back to find it cause i didn't know what you were talking about. almost thought you were posting in the wrong thread LOL. turns out it was me having a TL;DR moment. being late to the show trying the catch up will do that though.

Just take what you said for the piston and cylinder. New bearings are an obvious one.

I have many Honda cr dirt bikes and tons of saws but whatever if you want to run junk pistons that's your call good luck with it!!!!!!!!!!!!also im not a troll

been running "junk" pistons since 96 and never had a problem then. your just a glamour girl who needs to know there's a shiny new piston pumping in and out of your bore LOL
