346xp or 261 Husky

Seriously, I would get the 261. I have a 346 and use it almost constantly, so much so that netree became intrigued and git one himself. I do have a nice stable of ponies to choose from and still the little guy gets the nod more often than not. I'll take down the occasional large tree with it, if it is only gonna be one or two large trees and the rest are smaller. Otherwise I go get something bigger like the 372 or 288

Well, thanx again you all. I really appreciate the info. I finally went ahead an bought the 261 last night. I really wanted the 346xp expecially after hearing so much about it. Maybe after christmas i will run into a deal. I have a fair ammount of big trees as described above and i dont want to get a saw like the 346 and abuse it. Would rather keep it for the fun cutting. Just like my ole 48 Panhead rigid. I now use it for a bar hopper around town. When i get serious and want to head for good ole florida, I junmp on the electraglide. Yor info has been really helpful, and had i not been available to it, i would have bought the 346. So thanx again. I am going to get a 346xp but right now i need a larger saw.
