372xp piston change

want to use the taller 268 piston in a 372 wihich will be machined for squish and popup porting etc- have done it before- stock is not windowed but 268 is- make any difference to performance?- have a few Simonized pistons here and are windowed so I guess they are good to go- will check numbers after the fact and alter if needed.

My 375K top on my 372 its piston back in the day had windows in it. Add them.

Before they started putting the tops on chainsaws to use them up.

Ya i will use it on my next build- save me taking so much off the bottom of the cylinder to get th squish I want, can adjust that with piston work because they are taller than 372 pistons

Can you post or pm me the increase in conpression by installing the 268 piston vs the 372 piston.

The 268 piston is taller so regardless it would hit the top of your cylinder even with a gasket- need to take some off the top of the piston.- I have a lathe
