Hi Ed, that's a great idea! Glad I thought of it.
Why does a Dutchmen wear wooden shoes?
To keep the woodpeckers from peckin' on his head!

With appologies to halfinthebaginthebush

I didn't say Stihl Timbersports Series, now did I. I said Ironjack, Jacob. That's what they give away "plus prize money" for each of there single events and then crown an over-all champion.

The MS290 is 56.5cc and retails for $329, the Redmax 3800 is 37.2cc and retails for $359. Hope your not running Redmax, Treelimbs, cause you'd be short on money and HP! $2 for all 5, that is a good one!!! Better get one while there Cheap, next week they go on Ebay.

Gypo Logger, you better stick with what you've got! That Husky cuts! But real loggers don't have to have there logs up off the ground to buck um, You Conk!

No matter what the price, the 290 is a POS compared to other saws of similar size. But then you are the jack of all chainsaws and master of none!

See Gypo i told you real logger leave there trees on flat rock so you get good at cutting them up with out dulling your saw,
even in the stihl timbersports series they give money or a truck away, it seems to me most think that chainsaw companys give alot of money to shows , beleive me when i say they donot,
for the Ontario Championship, which is on most years the biggest show in Canada for number of contests , they give us $800 towards prize money and coats for the winners in each event, now we have to pay for the coats to have the names put on them ,cost is normally $600 for that

Come on BD, Gypo must have something that you would want to have, he has a 346 on alcohol that you could take out west and run in that big wood, 27 inch round ,hell no trouble , keep right up to those guys from out there with there 500's,

Gypo i think you are going to have to make one of your shiney chains and a longer bar , 60 drivers may not cut 27 inch from one side

Sorry ehp but Wade wants the cash for them, so I can't do any trading. If it were up to me I'd give them all to Treelimbs, because you can see, he sure needs the help!

Hi Big ?????man, The reason why I bucked off the hitch, was so, not only didn't I rock out on granite, but was cutting for grade. That way I can see if all sides are clear. Much unlike your tree length West Coast thing where the mill is making all the money.
Lots of stupid loggers left West of Toronto, so it's untapped territory where there's still lots of Fir!
Hi Ed, that 346ehp outcuts the 385, so hope it's done soon so I can race Chopper Mom in Oroville. That's Phil Elliot to you.

Let''s put your money up. I have a Poulan Wild Thing that goes thru an 8x8 concrete block in 5.8 sec. Care to Run your 290 against 'er???:D

Let me help you out again, Rich! I don't own a 029, I'm trying to sell 5 of them for a friend. If you don't like them, DON"T BUY ONE!

Well I read all your posts. I guess I must be missing something. I still did not see a price. When you walk into the dealer do you have to ask hime for a price ? I do not think so. The prices are easily posted. Stihl places tags on each saw. The Husky dealers generally have a list of all the products and prices no matter if they stock it or not. Ther is a reason for this. The potential customer can see where the starting price is at.

Bill

Bill, I'm not a dealer, so I'm not required to post the price. Like my 1st Post said, If your "interested" Email me! Then the 2nd post gave you my email address.

Can you see the pattern in BD's posts? Who is the master at avoiding questions?

Big Dutchman,

Unfortunatlely you haven't seen the Red Max "guts".

MS290 isn't in the same class as a Red Max GS5000.
Semi Pro vs Pro.

Take 'em apart. Look at the guts.
Then run them.
Remember Mikey in the Quaker Oats tv ad about Life ceral?
Try it, you might like it

This is just like the Dolmar scenerio....
If I don't know it....then it's not good.

If you like I'll send you some pictures of the Dust Free airfiltration system, and some "guts" shots.

Hey Ducth,
Ya post them saws on ebay yet? Me thinks I would rather take a chance there on buying them since you can not post a price in the open here. KInd of strange to run into that many new saws at once. But, yes you have a explanation on as too how you got the chance to sell them . But, be a little more open about it and the guys may be interested here. A new member in just the last coouple of weeks trying to dump alot of new saws just raises to many ideas.
Bob/hillbily

Sounds like to me your jealous of anybody who trys to sell saws here Dozer Dan. I started the post to sell 5 saws won by a friend, a few post were made and you jumped on somebody for not being a legit Dolmar dealer, and then away we go with all kinds of smart remarks. Also, I don't post a price and somemore people get there shorts in a knot. I then said if your interested here's my Email address. Nothing can be more simple. Dan, go sell your Komatsu's to someone who wants them. I DON'T. Go start another Thread and sales pitch to someone else who "wants" listen to your BS. BTW there really is 5 saws and there brand new in the box and they were won by Wade Stewart and if you want info Email me. Thanks

This isn't "Big Dutchman"'s first impression here, though the handle is new.

i do know that Wade did win the ironjack, and the saws are for real, have not talked to Wade for sometime but when i did he was a straight and nice guy, but i wondered what he thought when Dan M. ran the truck off the road full loaded with 8 ft popular for a show they were doing here in Ontario, i still donot know how it didnot roll over
