why is every one so worked up over (sorry dutchman)rubbish saws?not alot between them and a 025:confused:

Big dutchman kind of got things going by stating his opinion as if it were established fact that a certain saw was "crap". If you state something as fact, people demand proof of how you establish that. Stated clearly as your opinion, you are entitled to it. It also draws attention to any shortfalls your item may have if you knock another. That tactic only works on a narrow segment. That he may have been turfed off under another username doesn't necessarilly get him any sympathy either. That he self describes himself as " One Rugged Individual " invites testing.

If you are getting a licking big dutchman, take it and stop whining! Lol!

I can barely see the one saw, there are four unlabeled boxes and the guy trying to sell these is giving me the finger. Yeah, I'll jump on that right away!

I have found this thread to be very interesting! It has gone from selling stihl saws to bashing other members. I have not been on here for awhile due to some health issues and I have just been flat out to busy with the buisnesses that I am with. I am going to say a few things that might get some people on here mad, but it is time to move on! I have dealership's of power equipment in southwest Mo. About a year ago I started looking for someone to do some internet sales for me because of my time problems. There is just not enought time in the day. Anyhow I had some conversations with Jarod he seemed like a good Christian man and I hired him to do this work for me. There is NOTHING diffrent in what I am doing than what anyone else on here is doing with the exception that God has blessed me with employee's! There have been issues on here with saw pricing. I am making a fair profit on my saws, It is not my problem that some of you guys are getting it from your distribator. After all I am not the cheapest on here either, but I never see anyone grip about them. My saws are shipped from my dealership, whith the exception once in awhile of a PP saw which I do send off to get done for me, again it is a time issue for me. The fact's are this there is plenty of buisness out there for all of us, and You and I am not going to please eveyone out there, it just is not going to happen. I personally enjoy competition on a professional level, and hope and pray that the bashing of jarod will stop.

Jacob, they are new saws and who am i to say if they are good or not , there are alot of saws on here that i would not own but alot of guys would just love them, and what is wrong with Joe Blow the man that needs a saw to cut his firewood, and cannot afford a prosaw buying one of them, it would last him for a long time

You first post that I mentioned was your first post on AS not the first post on this thread. You started that thread as JapMax. Your forth sentence in your first post is "I wasn't impressed. Jap Crap!" I later asked what part of the saw that you consider to be crap but I still have not had a reply. I have had a few knowledgeable people Demo the new 5000 series and the only complaints that I had so far are, the fuel filler hole is on the small side and the secondary top cover should be attached with snaps instead of screws.
You also claimed that these was are prizes won at " Ironjack Lumberjack Competion in Alaska" by the same person. I find it hard to believe that they would give away the 290's as a prize. I also find it hard to believe that the same person could win 5 of the same prize. Did he win them all for one event or did he win them for 5 different events?
You also claimed to have purchased your new 372 with 28" bar and two chains for 500.00 out the door. Good price but when asked for the dealers name so that the rest of the forum members could also benefit from it, you came up with something like 529. for the power head, from a different location.
Is it just me or does anyone else see this thread the same way as I do?

Cecil's girlfriend won the ironjill at that same show, so that is how i know Wade won 5 -290's

She has not figured out what she is going to do with her stuff yet
but i do know she got $4700 in money to go along with the prizes

Joelamb- I pretty much give away used parts and I sell used pro saws that would cut circles around any 029/290. As I mentioned, Stihl had internal memos circulating through the company that referred to the fact that the 1127 model series is a consumer grade line "not designed to last longer than 100 operational hours".

100 hours of operation isn't much at all, in fact that equates to about 160 cords of firewood in average cutting conditions.

I hope that you get your health issues under control. My family has also had our share of health problems in the last few years and things keep on getting worse.
I did pass your store front a few month ago ,while on vacation but I was already two days behind schedule so I didn't stop in. I wanted to but I knew that if I did, it would put me another 4 hours behind.
Pricing really has nothing to do with things. Bashing certainly is a major part of it. Maybe I should not have made some of the posts that I did but enough is enough. I sat back and kept my mouth shut long enough, now its time to open it. I look at this way. If some people would have kept their mouth shut, so would I. Arguing and fighting gets you nowhere, except make a few enemies. Since you did not have the opportunity to be on here lately. Ask some of the others what all took place and you may understand what I am talking about. There are two sides to every story but some people only see one.

That's right DozerDan, I wasn't impressed! That's my opinion. The Redmax does not compare to any of the saws I own. As Jacob J. says, they'll cut circles around the Redmax. They say there Pro model saws, I don't agree, again my opinion. You being a Redmax dealer have a different opinion, thats fine, but don't take revenge out on me for my "Opinion". And the way things look around here, you have problems with anybody trying to sell saws.

Your points about the Ironjack saws are just ignorant. I already told you that they give away a saw for winning a single event plus prize money. Wade Steward has won the Ironjack before and again this year. He won 5 of the 6 events and the overall win. He also won the speed climb at the Great Outdoor Games this summer. He is a World Class Speed Climber. The Ironjack will be shown on OLN sometime this fall, so be sure and watch and see him win. Why Stihl decided to give away 029 I do not know, but whats a man to do if you win them. Whether these saws are junk or not doesn't matter, they'll make somebody a good saw, not me or you but somebody.

Again, like I said before, I got my saw at a special deal because of the equipment fair. You can't buy one at that price! These saws can be bought for $529.00 at Bailey's. What's $29.00! I think I've repeated myself enough. If you don't believe what I say to bad. It's my side of the story.

Crofter, this is "Established Fact"

I could care less about the saws that you are selling!

No need to show your IQ with that middle finger. We all figured that out on your first few posts!

Go home and get a life....sheeeeeeeeeeeeze!!!

Well here's one of those junky home owner 029's. Can this saw cut. My buddy made this one to run up at Fort Bragg this weekend. He even sharpens his chain on the back of his tailgate o figure.

I also just looked at a small mailer from Baileys and they are selling the ever more than popular 7900 for 549.00 no bar.

As Jacob J. says, they'll cut circles around the Redmax.

I would just like to say that JJ said his pro saws will cut circles around an 029. As I read it, he was NOT, in any way, referring to the Redmax.

I believe the "established facts" Crofter is looking for is with regard to the Redmax's performance.

This thread is amusing, if not ultimately worthless. Nobody is going to gain anything from it. Except maybe 4 lackluster saws.

Dan you are correct in the fact that I have not heard both sides of the story! And I guess I am going to have to hear the other side. I would be currious to here it. If you would like you could email me or I would be more than happy to call and talk directly with you! From what I understand there has been ongoing problems on here for several months and I would like you just like to get it resolved!

I hope your family is doing better we will keep you in our prayers!
