4 sale on forum?

Darrin, I have been here a while and think I remember you saying a little 4 sale here and there between members of the forum was OK. I took that to mean once in a while I could mention I had a saw or part available at a certain price. Then some of the members here told me they were chastised for try to sell something on the forum. I also remember a post in which you refered that commercial accounts could offer up 4 sale merchandise. There was probably clarification for me somewhere but I must have missed it. Could you go over that for me, and new members that may not know? Mike

We only allow sponsors and regular Joe's to put ads on arboristsite. If you do this for a living and are not a sponsor, sorry Charlie. I never try to be a jerk about it. I just plainly say, "hey please read the posting guidelines." Usually, they are the one's that get huffy and say all the other forums...... I am not all the other forums. This stays free because of the sponsors. So in all fairness they get to put what they want on here. I am changing it a little, hopefully next week, where there is a classified section. This way the board doesnt get a lot of ads spread all over it. Yes, a few sponsors...like Dennis, I don't have everything set up so I just right a post saying this ad was approved. If you have more questions please let me know.
