Ever since I bought my gear I wear it everytime I cut wood. Besides protecting my legs from the saw blade those chaps make for an extra layer of protection when climbing a hillside of thick brush and thorn bushes to fell trees!

The Stihl helmet I own allows for me to take the face shield and earmuffs off and wear separately when I'm bucking out in an open field. If anything is going to land on my head it will usually be bird s**t.

I shot all of those pics...Except for the one of me and the baby....and I watched him put that bar and chain on that Stihl..That was a 660....He's screwing with you guys..I'm not sure why,probably just to see what would be said.....I hope he's made enough of a rep for himself on here for ya'll to know he wouldn't make up a BS story...But we'll send pics of one or both of the 660's

Both Troll and me use PPE when we are cutting/working with chainsaw.
I have seen the results then people only use denimtrousers/pants. Think on it.
I'm not fanatic, but the result vs PPE is awful!

I wear PPE. I did however post a couple 'staged' pics without it and got railed.

My point is that why in 50 some replies has no one said anything to this pro?

Nice pics! And as (I think) I said before, you're a lucky guy for having a spouse equally willing to come out and work with the saws and hang around the woodpile.
