bummer on the hollow wood but much lighter
Oops I think you spoke too soon! Just sort of funny seeing those posts back to back. Were you trying to hex the poor guy? I know you were talking about overall longevity.
Nah, was just it's time. It's still under warrenty so i will get it fixed. Having a saw go down is no fun. Kinda makes me wonder if the 250s have a problem with coils.Must of jinxed it. Sorry bru.
My stepson shot the pics, He actually got in there and helped."Recognize this stuff, The woods are full of it."
Yea, I've been dancing with that "stuff" a lot, lately!
Great pics of you with the big rounds! Who shot those pics for ya? Thanks for sharing.....Good stuff!
That cant hook is one of the best things you can get. I'm too old to be trying to push heavy rounds around.Seeing your pics reminds me of the wood handling tool I would like...the cant hook (or a hookeroon would be nice also). That wedge pouch looks handy also...where's my Bailey's catalogue... .

It is great to see you using the personal protective equipment! So many people refrain from using PPE no matter what they are doing. I hate to see someone mowing the grass without safety glasses. It only takes a micro second to put an eye out....
Again, thanks for reinforcing the safety aspect of cutting!!! Great job!!!
I sure do appreciate that, But i wish i could. Use to cut all day and still be ready to go. Now i cut 5 to 6 hours and ready for bed. LOLYou work like a much younger man.
LMAO, Can't help that part. Been ugly all my life. But your uglyopcorn:
The first three truckloads were cut with a MS250 The trunk of it was cut with a MS460 with a 25 inch bar. Stock though no mods.Really good load there SS.
But the part I like the best is you've shown that you really can do an awful lot of work with a 45cc saw. Lot's of guys think you need a 70cc saw with a modded muffler to get any work done.
Great job!
Ive done that before, My problem was i had to get it out before the next hard rain set in. The tree was in kinda of a bottomland, So it is hard to get my truck back in there when it is wet. So had to get it out as fast as possible.. Would such an arrangement work for you where you are? It looks as if it would save you some work.
