I intend to incorperate an Oreck XL hepafilter. Obviously a Homelite application.

I don't know how your using your 026 pro.......but when I use mine with razor sharp chain just pumping out nice size cutting chips.......my filter is usually filled with dust and chips......FACT!

Let us know the secret.

I believe Stihl approached this problem a bit differently. The Intellicarb compensates for the filter loading pretty well. But I think all filters should be cleaned regularly...also the cylinder fins, flywheel, etc.

Air injection, is a good thing, though I DO wish Stihl had something like it. maybe I'll integrate some of that technology into my 024 just for kicks.
