Hello guys,
I have a 1998 gmc 7500 with the 55 ft altec lr 111 boom. The outriggers work nice and fast but the boom started to take a while to get hydraulic power and now it takes forever. Moving the outriggers up and down seems to help get it going especially when it's cold. I changed the filter with no luck.
Looking over the previous threads it sounds like I need a bypass valve that is located on the passenger side of the truck. Would that be the lever control unit that you push to change from outrigger to boom, or the valve on the back side of the outrigger with the push sensor?
Thanks for the help
