If it runs half as good as it sounds and looks, it should make a great GTG piece.
I'm looking for a filter that I can modify for this Alpina. I need a filter that measures at least 4 5/16" x 4 1/2". The bolt hole is 2 3/16" from the front edge.
A picture might help us out. Maybe with some measurements on it?
4 5/16" left to right
4 1/2" front to back
2 3/16" from front to bolt center
How thick? I am guessing a cover goes on top and it looks like there is a grove around the perimeter of the "air box" that the oem filter fits in? Did the oem filet have rubber on the edges so when you tightened the cover down it made a good seal?
What about a MC 250 filter. They are pretty wide. Or this setup McCulloch Vintage 200 250 Chainsaw Air Filter New | eBay
Looks a lot like the Remington 55,65,82 type filters.
It do look a whole lot like a Homelite would fit!what size is the air box?, looks like a homey or lombard air filter could fit right in......................
