the flywheel seems very original, I was referring to that center nut. Looks like that shine plate held by two screws is attached to the magnets. Here's the page from the IPL for your info.

I got a pal to strip and repaint this one as it was an awfull green with a yellow handlebar. It also helps to have a neighbor with a large blast cabinet!
