I just scored a whole truckload of stuff...
Is the bottom pile of parts what is left of one or two 795 or 797 saws? Nice bars!

When I was in Virginia last weekend I took a few pictures of my Reed Prentice for a member here. Think it qualifies as an antique...

Really diggin the old saws.
I just rescued this not truly antique, but still hard to get parts for, girl from under my Dad's bench. We used it to clear my parent's lot through the 70's and 80's. MANY tons of oak, cherry, maple, and sycamore have passed under its chain.....and a few locust trees(grrrr) as well. Hoping to put it back to work this week.
Bryan if it is complete and not busted up, buy it for that price and if you decide you don't like it, call me.Anyone in here have any experience with a McCulloch 1-85? I may be able to pick one up off of a neighbor (who's the original owner) who got it shipped to from from the factory by his daughter in law (and Mac employee at the time). I have no idea n the bar length of chain pitch but it's either 1/2" or .404 and somewhere around 25" long... Is $100 out of line?
Your saw is a "Sportsman" I know your rear handle is different then the one on Mikes site. Your handle may of been changed at some point.Does anyone have any idea what model Titan this saw is ? I couldn't find a match for it on Acres. Hopefully Cliff will be along and fill us in,he has some Titan's of this era.
Can anyone help me find out what year this saw is? It is a Lombard, serial# 9024053-135ax5g.
