Anybody know what this tree is?

my guess was a type of cherry, but didnt have the onions to post it.

I was actually thinking choke cherry, but since its more of a tree than a bush it cant be choke cherry. The leaves are cherry leaves, that is for sure.

Here is my useless post for the day, All the Cherry's I have seen here grow on more of a bush than a tree But dam I like that home made Choke Cherry wine. Not too sweet not to sour or dry I guess is the word for it lol. Now one of my favorite deer hunting areas is covered in Choke Cherry's and the ranchers wife say's you have to kick the bears in the ass to get them to move wile picking cherry's

We call them pin cherries.

There was one of these in my backyard growing up. The picnic table was under it. Ruined many pairs of pants accidentally sitting on the berries. As a boy, I used to collect the little cherries, smash them up, and use them as a dye to color stuff with.

Definitley not a dogwood, definitley Wild cherry, For some reason they seem to lose their leaves in the summer. Got both in the yard. Good firewood.
