I look at these trees, and my automatic understanding of them is that they will grow huge and split all over the place. The best I can assume of them is that they will be expensive work in the future plus damage to the property. One stem makes a sound tree especially if it's euc wood imo.
So, will the tree do alright if I save the best stem, and remove the other stems around it? Does it even matter if the trees are so many stems in the first place? :msp_rolleyes:
As a matter of fact, why are there so many stems involved with these eucs? I didn't see any stumps, so I don't assume this is epicormic growth. Maybe it is, and the stump surfaceS are grown over no so I can't see it. There were previous removals on this property, and some of them were covered with epicormic stems.
