John,
I got all your emails and sent you the splicing instructions 3 different times to both email addresses. I cannot post them here with pictures because it's in email format. If I change it to text format, I lose the pictures.
Please check your email and see if you have gotten my emails.

:(

If you like, you can set up a free email account at MyWay.com and one of us can send it there. Then you can save it to your computer from there.

The instructions I have are in email format with imbedded pictures for several of the steps. I can save the text in a different format and I can save the pictures individually but I cannot save the complete instructions with pictures in another format to be able to post here. About the only way I can get you the full instructions is by email.

Check to see if your "Preferances" in your browser are set to save emails on the server. If so, you have a set amout of server space, and then it will just kick the emails back to the sender.

JPS, that isn't the case. I haven't had any of my emails to him returned.
tophopper John- Have you checked your email at the server? Since it's a MSN addy, I assume it would be at mail.msn.com or something like that. Perhaps your email program on your PC (Outlook Express or whatever) is messed up?

I just sent it again. If this doesn't work, let me know and I will mail it to my MyWay account and send you the password. You can save it from there. (Obviously I will change the password afterwards)

Edited:Ooops, the MyWay account cannot handle HTML. that won't work either. :(

John,

If you do decide to change ISPs I'd recommend Earthlink, http://www.earthlink.net/
My folks, bro and I ahve been on for years and they take care of customer service and tech problems in the same way that we've come to enjoy from companies like Sherrill. They take care of me like you and I take care of our customers. Maybe better sometimes :)

Another thing that EL has is a referral spif. Anyone who makes a referral gets one month dial up service as a commission. Not too many companies have referral programs like that. remember, I sent you to EL :) They probably have DSL down south there in the hinterlands too.

I'm paying $10 per month from www.peoplepc.com . Customer service is difficult at best but I locked in for 3 years when I bought my PC from them 2.5 years ago. They have an 800 number and it takes an average of 15 minutes to get a live person. I haven't used their online support much because I only have a problem when I cannot get online. Good part is that I havbe 7-8 local access numbers. I think they are up to $12 per month now, but when you consider the cost of the second phone line ($23 per month with taxes) I will probably upgrade to DSL or cable come October.
