Cat is going to let me Demo a New SkidSteer for 5 Days next week. Now Thats a Demo! Looks like a Good Loader hand controls are kind of Funky Though. :blob2:

Yup, Morbark did that to me too. On the phone he sounded hesitant but then acted like he was going to leave it ..he didn't  Brought one with a tiny POS motor in it too, I was actually glad he was there to take it away , my Asplundh was chipping better.
The Bandit guy has let me use 2 different chippers now, last time for a week, I actually had to call him to say I was done with it!
Got a Bandit 250 coming tomm. to try out next week:blob2:

I Told the Vermeer Guy before he ever brought it out that My wife was the person to convince that WE needed a larger chipper. The only way to convince her is to let her get used to it and decide she doesnt want to get along without it.
She only put like to branches into it and was actually getting interested when he shut it down.

i demoed a 1400 and then a 1000 chipper, the guy let me chip up the whole job with it and thats all the time i needed. but if you wanted to really get the feel for the machine you would need it for half a day or more and compare between 2-3 companys.
if GM could give you a truck over night and let you put a few hrs on it then any chipper place should let you get the feel for the chipper seeing that its in the same ballpark price wise.
