best bar and chain for 357xp

I am currently running a stock bar and chain on a 357xp, with a 16" bar, I wouldn't mind increasing it to an 18" setup, any ideas?

I will be cutting exclusively hardwoods, mainly oak.

I run an 18" bar on my 357xp and i think it is a perfect match for the saw. I also cut only hardwoods and i can bury the bar in it and the saw just keeps pullin' hard like it should!:rockn:

18 inch bar on mine.

i run stihl RSC chain.smooooooooth! i tried the 16" and 20" bars and the 18 feels the best.just my opinion.my buddy has an 036 and it feels good with a 16"
