Local dealer just had two big ole Echos traded in on smaller Stihls by an old man, models 660EVL and 750. They look to have been treated well and used little, good looken old saws with next to new bars and chains. 750 is as traded but guarrentied to be no problems. $100. $660 has been there long enough to have been "gone through" in the shop so higher at $150. Dealer doesnt like "off" brand trades sitting around. You can see from my saw list I have no "use" for them but sure seems like a lot of saw and quality for the asking price. We dont see the older big Echos for sale very often and I'm think'en I oughta snatch them up.

They are great saws (horizontal engines, old school by today's standards but good saws). The price seems right and they had plenty of torque.

Hey Butch, i would pass on that 750, tell me where its at and i will take it off his hands. Just kidding. thats a super saw, one i wish i never had sold...Bob

For some reason I kinda figured you'd pop in here Bob:laugh: . The 750 is a C-note until they get time to put it through the shop then $50 higher "at least" I can get it to Canton when I visit my daughter at Malone and save you a couple hour drive but you take the chance I might try it and like it. Otherwise it's located at Mast's in Utica and it would not bother me to see an Echo man with both of them.

Well, Bob, since you're already in the doghouse ;) you might as well get those saws. Butch, with the crazy prices on eBayware you probably could auction the 750 for a profit.

Well Bob they are both safe and comfortable in my shop, gave me a break for taking both. Never seen so many levers, dials and controls on a saw before like the 750EVL. First time I ever had to read a book to start a saw, LOL.
