My normal BK routine also. No way I would go back to a non-cat stove. This stove has spoiled me! The noticeable reduction in wood usage is also a huge bonus.

I heat ~1400sq ft on about 3 cords a winter... winter being about 7 months here.

It should do just fine.

I have r60 in the attic, r21 walls, but my windows are "contractor grade".

Better than mine. I got whatever they used in 48
