Wow I guess I never read the bottle that close on my oil. Behond the mix ratio. I've been adding staybile to my premium gas oil mix. It would be interesting to know if the stabilizer is to maintain something in the oil or if it maintains the octaine in the gas?? The Hoosier

Hoosier-

It may have been the thread I started yesterday about gas and stabilizer.
I too have been adding my Stihl mix oil to my premium fuel and then adding stabilizer on top of that never realizing that the mix oil had stabilizer in it already! Not a big deal, though I did put the rest of that in my truck, filled it up, then re mixed my saw mix, minus the extra stabil. last night!
