Did anyone hear Drew Hastings on B & T this morning? He said he bought a chainsaw, read about kickback in the owners manual, and was afraid to start it. He then said he didn't know about having to mix the gas and the saw wouldn't start.
"Three dollars a gallon for gas and I have to complete the refining process!!"

We all know the saw would have started on straight gas, but the bit was pretty funny anyway.

That guy's whole bit is making fun of his ignorance of the farm lifestyle, which he has adopted. He does a good job of making himself look like an idiot. It is very funny. Wish I would have heard this one.

I'm from Indiana (they're out of Indianapolis) so I heard them all the time back in the day, but we don't get them out here.

It must be a sign of getting old, but I don't think idiots are funny anymore. I tend to want to punch the idiot rather than laugh at him. As for the farm lifestyle, I still remember while growing up (on a farm) watching the Beverly Hillbillies, I always thought the show was making fun of the city slickers only. It never occured to me at the time the humour was in both directions. I mean, what's funny about eating 'possum, or crawdads.... doesn't everybody?

We don't get them around here anymore,or at least I haven't heard them in a while.They're not on the show they used to be....I mostly listen to Johnboy and Billy.
