Dave there is a ton of work in Toronto ands area,lots of companies looking for climbers paying cash if you know of anyone up this way to crash with!

As long as customs doesn't jam you up for working there. You have to have a good excuse for transporting your equipment. Maybe ship it...

Most of the companies will supply you a saw, most are paying cash so no worries that way!
Working in subzero temps in trees ..... Frankly sounds like having my toes stomped on by a horse ! But logging on and seeing you fellows doing it up makes me feel compelled to work in this weather ... So tomorrow I may get up before 10am and split some wood . Maybe !

Thinking about going out back, setting snares, catching rabbits and making stew. Is that illegal? How do ya skin a rabbit.............how do you make a snare? You tube, here I come.

All you need to trap a rabbit is a milk carton a stick a carrot and 15 ft of rope ! A joint a magazine and toilet paper and 5 twinkies

Pellet gun would be far less work. You really don't skin a rabbit. You cut off the legs and get some of the skin opened up, then you just rip the skin off. Trick is doing it when it's still warm makes it much easier

Ah... Maybe I missed this but why are you cutting white oak into firewood that looks like that? We are getting $.90 a here for crappy white oak.

An idiot tree guy offloaded those logs with a crane on top of older dry wood, so it sat there for a year. He could have an easy half hour drive and got $1,000's but didn't.:buttkick:
My buddy, who owns that woodlot, didn't have a saw big enough to cut em. I offered a few guys the logs in exchange for some bobcat work cleaning that lot, but they didn't want to gamble a few hours on log grade....:laugh: their loss.
So......:chainsaw::chop:

They're easy to clean. Take a 2x6 or something similar and pound 2 nails in it across from eachother far enough apart to spread the hind legs,put the 2x6 in a bag,hang the rabbit upside down belly facing out on the nails by jamming them between the tendon and leg bone on the back legs,pull all the fur off and let it fall in the bag, then gut it letting all the **** fall in the bag,chop off the head and feet,and clean up the mess. Ez peezy.
