Brand new 044

You got off easy, I'd have gotten at least one 044 out of ya instead of an 028

We had already agreed on a price and he was telling me he went to the dealer looking for an 028 to complement his MS461 and I remembered that a local shop has an 028 Super on the shelf, so I told him I would pick it up and throw it in.
Believe it or not I have a lot of 1128 projects but no complete running 044s at present, that is sure to change over the winter as at least 4 project boxes are ready for final inventory and all four will be different 044/440 models when done.
I am under strict no pull start command from the orthopedist for the next two weeks so the inflammation in my shoulder goes down enough they can get a better MRI picture before going in to make repairs.

I'd be keeping the 461 myself and adding a 50-60 cc saw as well. But an 044 is da bomb!

This thread got me thinking I checked the specs on my 5105 and an 034 is both stronger and lighter. The local stihl shop just got a trade in on one it looks like its brand new. Hmmmm

and if it has or gets a bad top end the 036 bolts right on and then it magically gets ported

Heated handles may be nice in the winter, but they add weight that is not removable in the summer. If I were buying a 50 cc saw, I would keep it light.
