As of yesterday Robert was in Second place. Another guy cut in 1.7 or something like that. Robert's time was 1.9 seconds.
I am not sure if we got a pic of the front end of Gary's saw. If not we may get it today.

Had a great time at the show... Got to meet bks044 and his wife (MTNAINGAL23) and their daughter. Great people... had great time Shootin' the breeze with you guys! Thanks for posting your pictures... Look forward to seein' you guys next year!

Again thanks to Roger Barnett too... awesome pics as always!:)

On Satuurday the Termite tried to put me out of commission. There is an aluminum shield that we fabbed to fit over the harmonic balancer on the engine. Glad it was there. If you look at the pictures that bks044 posted of me making our cut... you can see the shield on the saw just making contact with my right knee. all 450 pounds of it! I have a nice big knot and bruise just above my right kneecap. It stopped our cut and my hand slipped off of the throttle and the saw died whith only 5" of wood left to cut. We had a great cut going... prolly right around 2 seconds. But oh well. The "chute" that is made on the Termite that shoots the roostertail out of the back of the saw was clogged from our failed attempt on Saturday. So when we cut on Sunday... no rooster tail... The chips just collected all over the front of the saw... You can see that on the Pics that Roger posted.

The Binford saw (another V-8) won the event. During sundays show... when they started their saw, the oil filter had a hole in it and sprayed oil everywhere. So we loaned them our oil filter right there in the arena, and they put it on their saw... made the cut... and reinstalled it back on our saw. Both saws are 215 c.i. Buicks so it was easy peasy.

Rotax Robert's Predator was making one hell of a cut on Sunday, and something I have never seen happen before to his saw... the chain came off back at the drive sprocket. Just like us... he only had about 5" of wood left. That cut prolly would have been the fastest cut of the weekend. But like Robert said to me on Sunday, "Oh well... that's racin'!"

I ran into crazymanmike also... We buried the hatchet and he slipped me some of Rotax Roberts secrets about his saw... only cost me a half-rack of Bud Light! What a guy!!!

Lou... I didn't know that was you that patted me on the shoulder and said "Good luck Gary." Thanks my friend... I'll see ya next year!

What a weekend... I also found out my cousin has been railin' my girlfriend (now ex-girlfriend!) since May... So I got a little drunk on Saturday night... HA! Good to know I casn trust my extended family members...

Went to the Buckley log show today and I saw "A" Husky chain saw. So I guess at least 1 pro logger in these parts uses one. Looked lonely with all the Stihls surrounding it. 65 loggers entered 25 in the stock hot saw race and that is where the 1 husky showed up. Every other saw was a Stihl except Rotaxs Poulan.Rotax didn't run the poulan starter handle broke but was definately very fast with the big Stihl he ran. Guy at the log is brave Husky man

Yup... lots of 090's there. Prolly 12 or 15 of 'em. Some 076's, Couple of 084's and Robert ran his 088 when the Poulan's rope snapped.

Dude, are you friggin serious?

Completely... it was even more fun to find out from 4 different people during the course of the weekend. I found out a lot about her this weekend from some good friends... Not much else I can say about it but... her reputation precededs her.:censored:

I did see my cousin in the beer garden... but i didn't make a scene... but I guess some of the things I thought I was being "quiet" about were heard by others... word spreads fast in those little towns.
