I just started building a 660 clone last night. My question to everyone is how easy should it be to spin the crankshaft once you have bolted both sides of the crank case together? I have watched some build videos and it seems that the crankshaft spins a lot easier in the videos. If there is a problem with my build so far, it's not visually obvious. Anyone have knowledge about what to look out for when installing a crankshaft?

tight seals will do this as well , just need a little time and they wear in , agree with the crank not being center place a piece of hard wood on end of crank and hit with hammer if it gets tighter just go the other side

It is best to have the crank spin freely before putting in the seals. Even with the seals, it should spin over just by spinning each end of the crank by hand.
