I miss the pine woods around north Fl, south Ga a little. I was raised with the giant eastern diamond backs, but never saw a copper head until we moved to the Ozarks 25 years ago. Walkin up on one of those big rattlers will make you pucker up fer sure! Cotton mouths are worse though and we have them here...We don't have the broad expanses of LL pine as is found in SWGA and the Tally area. I love going through that area and dreaming. This part of the farm is about 300ac.
I use about 2:1 (diesel:gas). Sometimes closer to 1:1 when it's cold weather.
