Certainly he could have picked a better example. Maybe "get a free SuperREX" didn't have the right ring to it...

(BTW: For those who are wondering what this actaully is, it's a scam. You're supposed to pose as an importer to get free samples, then dissapear. Problems include: It only _may_ work on Far-East OEMs (so no Apple iBooks, Sony cameras, or Stihl chainsaws), all the companies are wise to this scam, and it happens to be illegal (along the lines of mail fraud).)

Free Homelite 750 would be nice, but the shipping from Romania...........:D BTW, is that auction back on yet? (third time's the charm)

Not long ago it was how to receive free computers. Different guy same crap. If it smells like a scam it probably is. It was amazing to me that people actually bid on the free computer info.
Grateful

It's usually plasma TVs and digital cameras. Also computers, tools, stereo equipment, and stuff I probably can't imagine. I see several of these per day pop up on eBay.

There was a scam a few months back that lead naive people to believe they were bidding on a new 3120xp. If they read the fine print they realized that they were actually buying info. Of course it was a scam but the real bad thing was the huge price. I believe it was $170. The seller and all auctions was removed by ebay within days.
