Flushcut- the thing about the Kettle Moraine is its been cable skidded since there have been cable skidders. Any place you go in the woods (at least in the northern section near me) there are logging roads along the ridges and down into the kettles. They've probably been there since it was logged with animals skidding. I could see some yarding out west along the Mississippi where it does get broken up, the driftless areas where the glaciers never steam-rolled. It would have to be just one element of an entire logging operation. They would still need the conventional machines to keep work in front of them I think.
