You are on a sight that advocates cutting tree's down for firewood and you are going to tell me testing a clutch up against one is going to hurt it.LOL
There are all types of alternative heating (not that I care) but you are going to whine about them pushing on a tree with a pickup that probably won't effect the tree.

What a troll!

Did you go back to school and learn how to conjugate a verb overnight, or were you playing the fool in your earlier posts?

Nice improvement on the punctuation too!

I was tired of listening to you complain.LOL

Lordy, come back to this thread after a short break and drop into a bun fight!!

Sheesh...you have gone so far off topic you're almost in my backyard!

The crux of the matter is that it would be nice if the broadly heard and respected 'Cartalk' would suggest something other than a tree upon which to test one's clutch. Surely an inanimate object would be preferable.
How many times do I see trees that have been damaged from bumps and bangs from cars, trucks, mowers, etc...., as small as the initial injury might be, the potential for further problems down the line does exist.

We are tree specialists and as fairly low down the priority level as it might seem to some, advocating, however innocently, what we see as some level of damage to trees, is just not on!

I presume to imagine that a mason/bricklayer might object to the same action against a nicely rendered wall...

1) this site (note the correct spelling) is an arboristsite, started years ago by climbers, and has morphed into a huge internet attraction for all things chainsaw related, god forbid. but this forum is for us climbers/arborists., those who know what the Cambium is, and does. not probably, but certainly.

2) firewood cutting is just one forum on this site. you are entitled to be here on AS, but you belong on the political thread, where you're level of arguing is expected.

3) I don't whine, but I'm sure you would cry like an 11 year old little girl if you were in my face and not behind the safety of your keyboard.
don't insult me you :censored:, I'm twice the man you are.
Post a pic of yourself doing something besides burning your momma's electricity sitting in her basement stirring up the internet.

.

and there lies the problem, bermie. :dizzy: a fool dismisses the advice of experts because he is plain stupid, or just so full of :censored: he refuses to acknowledge the wisdom of others. (I think he is both,) what good does it do to attempt to change the distorted, out of date views of tree care when we have to deal with such ignorance?

I've been here for over 7 years, and get real tired of who comes thru the door talking like a man with a paper mache a$$.

I need a trip to the bermuda triangle and a big glass with a little umbrella, know anybody hiring?

You make my laugh, you will try to invoke physical harm to me but not a tree.LOL Who cares about my grammar, other than you? I am in TN if you and your tree huggers care to stop by, but I will warn you I carry a hand gun at all times for personal protection. I am not hiding I would be happy to meet a person who cries over bark falling off a tree.

you need a gun, with a mouth like that.

you insult someone else first, then run to the gun. typical response from a child and his video game mentality.

go away little boy, just go away.

That is right I pay taxes for that fireman to come rescure me it is not his duty it is his job no one made him do it he chose to, You are right you can protest that is fine and I can disagree with it also.

You pay taxes so that firefighter can stay on station able to respond quickly.

You pay taxes so that firefighter has the correct safety gear and equipment to rescue you in an efficient manner.

And yes, an oath has a lot to do with it.

People who believe that fire control is "just a job" have never been in a fire. Just as people who believe aboriculture is "just a job" have never climbed a tree.

The link for email doesnt work for me Guy. Chance of a link?

Night all.

I agree on both counts.

I didn't say they were all like that but it is a job and they are payed by taxpayers they don't produce anything it is a government job. Some take the oath seriously but some don't.

I don't need a gun I just know how you tree hugger nuts are, you will kill a person but not a tree. Like I said I would be happy to meet you I didn't say I would kill you with a gun I said I carry a gun, I am sure you are scared to death to even hold a gun because they kill people.

Yes, they are payed by taxpayers when they are professional firefighters.

And the ones who take that oath seriously, take offense to someone associating their pay with their job performance.

I've said my piece, sorry to participate in the thread derailment.

Well I pretty well have kept this thread going so feel free to stop by anytime.LOL:deadhorse:

Wow!

I have always advised people that some of the very worst people to pick a fight with are tree climbers. They are incredibly strong, fast, and they are usually from a real rough crowd that likes to get in fights. The fact that they are generally fearless from doing a really dangerous job should be a consideration.

Now comes along a fellow that doesn't seem to mind threatening that same crowd as though they were nothing but sissies...

I personally would feel safer threatening someone on the Thugs-R-Us site rather than where a bunch of crazies with chainsaws hang out.

Ahhh, if it weren't for the anonymity of the internet!

especially one who gets on a plane at a moments notice to go to a hurricane zone and climb trees most other climber's yell crane job at.:dizzy:

It was fun picking on his misguided opinion, but clearly a waste of time. shows what we are up against.
Calling the treeslayer a treehugger is pretty funny, though, considering my skill and experience at tree removals and clearing projects.

Well I havn't threatened anyone and I really don't care about offending some tree hugging, out of touch with reality moron and it he would like to meet me I will give him my # or address it don't matter to me. I am a mechanic I work on two stroke engines that couldn't fit in your house or shop for that matter it is physical work 10hrs a day so I am not worried about. He has an opinion and I have one it is a forum and this is a political issue.

You said: "Please feel free to comment on my misspelled words and bad grammar because I CARE>"

Ok. I will!

havn't: in a contraction, the apostrophe replaces the missing letter. The rest of the two words are spelled intact as one word. The correct form would be haven't.

threatened anyone and I ... hugging, out of touch ...moron and it he would like ...address it don't matter to me. This is a run-on sentence. Consider improving the readability through the use of additional periods and improved grammar:

"It don't" Remember my little statement about conjugating verbs? You may wish to look up the various tenses of the verb "do". "Doesn't" would be a suitable substitute, providing that it was not your intention to sound like a hick with no education.

I am a mechanic I work on ... This is another run-on sentence! The insertion of a period after mechanic would correct this problem. Other punctuation, particularly a "?", would also be appropriate.

... shop for that matter it is physical work 10hrs a day so I am not worried about. This is an amazing work of composition which effectively merges three declarative sentences into one incomplete sentence. Consider the following corrections:"... shop for that matter. It is physical work with 10 hours a day, so I am not worried about it."

I have the greatest respect for mechanics, as they are an essential part of this world. Being a mechanic, however, does not entitle you to insult everyone else. So far, you have insulted politicians, firefighters, and arborists. In fact you have insulted everyone that came up in conversation. You several times called individuals a moron (or worse), while simultaneously displaying your moronic attitudes and communication skills.

I suspect that you are into a sadomasochistic lifestyle, because you seem to be hanging out here for the sole purpose of encouraging people to heap abuse upon you. You are probably the one who likes to be tied up and beaten?

My only purpose in contributing this post is to work out some of my petty frustrations with the world upon you, since you are such a huge target and so easy to hit! This isn't really fair to you, however, and I would prefer for everyone else that visits this site to not think of me as "the smart ass picking on the dummy".

So I will stop.

It's been fun, but I will not give you any more English lessons.
