I know its a chainsaw forum but i know a lot of you have plows.
I normaly just bring my plows in for a flush and new hydraulic oil. I had my plow stop working last year cause I didnt get it changed.
What do i need to flush all the fluid and replace with new fluid? What other maintanance do i need to do? What kinda oil?
Thanks

You should be able to drain the reservoir. Take the lines off the cylinders and move the blade back and forth until all the oil is out. Hook lines back up and fill reservoir. Cylinders will fill as you work the plow. I run the blue plow oil - parts stores or TSC. Has it. A little HEAT gas treatment added to the oil will prevent freezing. Not much fun to have a chunk of ice hold a valve open at 4 AM 10 degrees out!
