They even fake the box along with the owners manual. Underneath the "husky" decal is the smaller one that has a bunch of Chinese writing on it. I'll bet that the saws all have the same serial number.

The writing under the smaller Husqvarna symbol is not Chinese, it’s Vietnamese.

Translated as:

Importer: Vision Corporation
Address: A5B Giang Vo, Ba Dinh, Ha Noi
Commodities: Husqvarna chain saw
Origin: Sweden

Oh, I forgot, it also has phone numbers and a fax. Probably all BS.

Wow, I looked everything up, and found the numbers are legit and to the said named company at the address listed. They even have a website that lists Husqvarna chain saws.

It’s probably a front company to sell counterfeit goods produced in China.

Hey now guys, are we not a not a capitalist society? Most on here believe in a strong lack of central government control and believe that society as a whole should fend for themeselves. Summed up as the doctrin Caveat Emptor. Why should one blame others for our own foolishness. They are simply capitalizing through a legitimate market.

We have surely lost our way, but that does not mean that others are wrong in following in our footsteps, and doing it better than us. I sense a strong amount of jealousy.

I sincerely appologize for playing the devils advocate, just food for thought.

An Euro 4.6hp version of the 390 was all from that "family", but the price was way too close to their pro saws here. I picked one up when they were dumped, but it just felt appalling! I wouldn't want a saw from that "family", even if free!

Europe always gets the good stuff. I guess it's because they don't have the government always telling them it's for their own good.
