Ordered one of those ignition chips to replace missing condensor, points, and points box cover and gasket. I read alot of old threads on here lots of different opinions. Coil tested good going into this. 1 wire on/off switch and 2 magnets in flywheel spaced 1/2" away from eachother.
So there's a bare wire and blue wire coming out of coil which I believe went to the same terminals on the points, based on another similar saw I was working on. Do both of those go together in the new connection? Should I start with negative ground? And in the circled area is the wire going to the switch and chip from coil all the same wire? 3rd pic is of a complete points from similar model saw. Thanks. First time at attempting this.
